Hi,
I recently closed on an FHA refinance of my home loan. I thought I did anyway. The broker that sold me the mortgage already sold it to another company. He called me at the last minute however and stated that the HUD wouldn't insure my loan due to the house paint failing inspection. It is peeling and I was going to do something about it after I refinanced. I am forced to either peel and paint the house myself or find someone who will do it in order to pass inspection. The mortgage broker...

My husband and I have thought about selling our current home and buying a slightly larger home. We're hoping to make enough of a profit to put a substantial down payment on the new home. But I'm worried that if we sell our house first, we will not be granted a loan on a new home because of late mortgage payments on our current home. My wife and I have divorced and I was awarded the house and obligated to pay payments alone as of May 1st. I can't afford the home alone. My exwife has been contributing to half of the mortgage since our divorce was final in fear of hurting her credit since she is still on the mortgage and title. My...
